Why do I need to Authenticate?
Some content in the app isn’t viewable until verifying your cable or satellite subscription. This content is indicated by a key icon. After entering in your cable provider credentials, a checkmark will replace the key icon, indicating any authenticated content that can now be watched.
What is Simulcast?
The live Simulcast in app provides Adult Swim programming at the same time its scheduled on TV. Access to the live simulcast is available as part of your paid TV Service Provider package that includes a subscription to adult swim.
I used to be able to log in with my Comcast Xfinity credentials, but now I am getting an error. How can I fix this?
If you have an iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV:
Start by checking to see if you’re logged into your Xfinity account through your device settings. You can find this by going to the device Settings, scrolling down, and selecting “TV Provider” to see if [adult swim] has access to your Xfinity login. If it does, try turning this off, or logging out of Xfinity entirely on your device. Once you’ve done that, try restarting your app and see if you are able to log in through the app Settings in the upper right-hand corner, going to Cable Login, and entering your credentials. You can also try logging back in through the “TV Provider” in the device settings and allowing the [adult swim] app to access the “TV Provider” login.
If you have a Fire TV, Roku, or Android device:
You can look in the upper right-hand corner of the app to see if the Xfinity cable provider logo displays to indicate you are logged in. If you’re experiencing difficulties, try going to the Settings screen in the upper right-hand corner and selecting Cable Logout. Then restart your app, go back to the Settings screen, and see if you are able to log in by selecting the Cable Login again and entering your credentials.
Another thing that may be causing this issue is a change to your Xfinity package. You may have been affected by Xfinity’s decision to repackage Cartoon Network/[adult swim] to a different tier of service. For issues like this, we recommend reaching out to Xfinity directly to ensure that you have access to this channel as part of your subscription. - Select your cable provider from the list of providers.
- Log in with your cable provider credentials.
Enabling Closed Captioning
- Press the Home buttonon your remote to open the main screen.
- Scroll right and select Settings.
- To open the captions menu, select Accessibility.
- Select Closed Caption to turn Captions On/Off.

- Navigate to the URL shown on this page (www.adultswim.com/ned).
- Select your device and enter the code that appears in the app.
- Select your cable provider from the list of providers.
- Log in with your cable provider credentials.
Enabling Closed Captioning
- Select “Settings".
- Select "General”.
- Select “Accessibility”.
- Select “Subtitles and Captioning”.
- Select “Closed Captions and SDH” to turn Captions On/Off.
